Gorton Medical Centre - move to new location

On Monday, 11th March 2024 Gorton Medical Centre moved from its previous location at 46 Wellington Street, Gorton, Manchester, M18 8LJ to our new location at the Gorton Hub, 27 Garratt Way, Gorton, Manchester, M18 8HE.

The whole practice team at Gorton Medical Centre can't wait to welcome you to our new home where you will be able to see the same health professionals and members of staff. The practice is now located in the purpose-built Gorton Hub, which is 0.2 miles along Garratt Way from the previous practice building on Wellington Street, and our new home will provide the surgery with the space to further develop our services for the future.

Why we have moved

Our new home will mean:

- An increase in the number of clinical rooms which will allow us to recruit more healthcare professionals and members of staff so that we can offer a wider range of services.

- As we are co-located in the Hub with a range of other services we will be able to work collaboratively with other services. Additionally, our patients will be able to access those other services when coming to the Hub.

Gorton Medical Centre will continue to offer a broad range of services to all of our patients.

Next steps

If you wish to remain registered as a patient at Gorton Medical Centre following the practice's relocation, you do not have to do anything. Your details will be transferred to the practice's new location and you will simply attend your face-to-face appointments at the Gorton Hub from 11th March 2024.
